Rapidia Receives Ignite Award

Yesterday was electrifying as our CEO Artem Bylinskii, Head of Customer Success James Penney and Principal Scientist David Ester, on behalf of Rapidia, officially accepted Innovate BC's Ignite Award. This win is a testament to our team's relentless passion for innovation and our commitment to solving industry challenges.

The awarded project, focused on developing corrosion- and wear-resistant materials for the Rapidia metal 3D printing system, has already achieved significant success. But we're just getting started!

With this recognition, we're even more fired up to push the boundaries of technology and make a real impact in Advanced Manufacturing. A huge thanks to Innovate BC and our fantastic partner at The University of British Columbia, Adam Thomas Clare as well as Michael Benoit at UBC Okanagan and our Post-Docs Reza Alaghmandfard and Sahil Rohila who share our vision to accelerate the possibilities of metal 3D printing.

INNOVATE BC

#IGNITE awardees Rapidia and Dr. Adam Clare of the The University of British Columbia are collaborating on a project to develop corrosion and wear-resistant materials for Rapidia’s metal 3D printing system. This approach will allow for more efficient part designs, reduce material waste and manufacturing facility footprints for faster product development in resource industries like mining and oil and gas.

Awarded: $300,000
